Field Note #008

📅 11 July 2026 iMIXAR

When I started thinking about content experiments, the first instinct was to create the best possible video.

The perfect hook.

The perfect edit.

The perfect explanation.

But there is no perfect content before real feedback.

A single post is not an experiment.

It is only one data point.

A real experiment needs repetition, variation, and learning.

Next version

The goal of the first batch is not to create a viral post.

The goal is to discover:

  • Which problems people care about.
  • Which messages they understand.
  • Which formats create curiosity.
  • Which signals indicate real interest.

Every imperfect output is still valuable if it teaches something.

A startup does not find the right path by predicting everything before moving.

It finds the path by creating small evidence loops.

The goal is not to make the perfect experiment. The goal is to build a system that learns from every experiment.

Context

Designing the first IMIXAR public experiment: Reality vs Virtual Preview content series.

What changed?

Content creation changed from a production task into a learning process.

Next experiment

Create a series of comparison videos with different hooks, formats, and messages, then use audience response to guide the next iteration.

Every Field Note captures a real decision made while building IMIXAR. Some ideas will survive. Others won't. The notes remain either way.

This Field Note came from a real prototype.
