It's surprisingly easy to feel productive without learning anything.

A nicer logo.

A better header.

A cleaner landing page.

Another AI-generated illustration.

Each improvement feels like progress.

Sometimes it is.

But for an early-stage product, there's a dangerous trap:

You can spend weeks polishing something that no real user has ever asked for.

Meanwhile, the questions that actually matter remain unanswered.

Will anyone read the article?

Will they open the prototype?

Will they come back?

Will they trust it enough to use it before buying?

I realized something while building IMIXAR:

If we have to choose between making the product look better and learning something from real users, we choose learning.

Every experiment teaches something.

Every real visitor reduces uncertainty.

No amount of visual polish can replace that.

Building an early-stage prototype while resisting the temptation to over-design.

Progress is no longer measured by how polished the product looks.

It's measured by how much we learn from real users.

Publish the first article, share it on X, and observe how people actually interact with the prototype.

Every Field Note captures a real decision made while building IMIXAR. Some ideas will survive. Others won't. The notes remain either way.
